When I think of Saturn, I think of a big massive man who is very intimidating but as gentle as a stuffed bear. It can be hard to appreciate the sixth planet from the Sun, because tough love can be hard to take but over time, you’ll get it. I did not know about the “Saturn Return” before mine but looking back, makes sense. It happens when Saturn comes back around into alignment with your natal chart, about every 29.5 years. It is the moment in time I knew my current relationship was not it and things had to change; plus, I was in the middle of an awakening. My life was hectic, confusing and not at all what I wanted. It did validate that I was not crazy…lol
I have a Capricorn stellium in my natal chart, that means 3 or more planets were in the zodiac sign of Capricorn, the moment I was born. Saturn is the ruling planet of Capricorn, representing the father figure, restriction and responsibility. Also known as the “Lord of Karma", if you do not respect the lessons given, they will become harder and more intense. Saturn let’s you know that it is time to grow up and put aside kiddie things. Around 29 years old, you have pretty much “sowed your oats" or should have. Depending on the placements of this “Ringed planet” in your chart, Saturn can seem to make success come harder. Wisdom and confidence are a few things to be taught by this planet; experience is the best teacher and Saturn is the Master.
This fatherly planet will make you question who “You" really are. We change so much during our early 20’s and transitioning into the 30’s is no different. The people, places, things and interest in your life will all be “under review”. We all have a purpose in life, chances are that if you are drawn to websites and people with content of the Occult, your purpose may be more than you expect. Therefore, Saturn checks you to make the right choice to stay aligned with your path; you do not have to listen, but it is a lot easier. There is no way to prepare for his return, he only knows what is right and wrong in your life; if you knew, Saturn’s Return wouldn’t be a concept.
There is nothing to fear, fear is an illusion anyway. Saturn will show you that you are a strong person that can go thru shit and come out shining. No, you are not going to literally die if your girl/boyfriend breaks up with, no matter if there was love there or not; your perception of yourself needs to be clarified. The planet of Karma may not show you sympathy, but compassion and integrity are deeply embedding in all the he brings to light. That job your love so much because it brings in bank, it may have to go. Realizing that the thing you may love the most is that one thing stopping you from your dreams can come as a shock. Only through experience will we understand what Papa Saturn is really teaching us.
The only advice that I could give anyone when it comes to Saturn, polarization is your frienemy. Your environment and personal interactions have molded the thoughts and feelings that are within you. Understanding that what formed you may not have been the best influence and be open to allow change. I can tell you not to fight it, but you will. Again, experience is the only teacher. Stay ground, learn what that is, practice it, LIVE IT!!!
Much Love…
