The Planets and Their Meanings

Mars - This planet is associated with the Zodiac sign of Aries; it represents aggression, strength and the "initial" spark. Mars tells us how one actively approaches a situation or obstacle; handles energies and moves through life. If the Mars sign is in Water, this person will move more fluidly and be more flexible that other Elementals. An Earth Mars sign will do things in a more "concrete" fashion; continuing on until the failure or success is acknowledged. Air signs in the Mars placement would be very quick to achieve the task or goal one has in mind; whether or not it is a true success will be revealed in time. Mars placements in Fire signs would seems "ideal", this can be the case by these individuals will impose their will on others. There is not right or wrong when it comes to the mingling of Planets and Elements; it only deals with what one's perception is at that current "time".

Venus - Awwww, Venus, the Planet of Love, well most of the time. Venus tells us how an individual gives and receives love in all forms. This is the planet of Taurus, things one holds internal value towards and how some one shows you they care or don't. As is love...quite complex, other planets and aspects really bring this planetary influence together. Water signs in Venus can be very sensual people but so can Earth signs too. Fire signs in the Venus placement can be very fiery and passionate; but do not get it twisted, a Venus Air sign can sweep you off your feet. Again, be easy when judging someone on this placement, this is only part of the truth.

Earth - We all know this one Earth, our home, our Mother. Why did I include her in this? Because she is very important. You are the Earth in your chart, where a new way has been formed and how it grows depends on you. Treat yourself as you would The Big Mother and you will be blessed beyond belief. Sh!e is all four elements and so are you. You add the Spirit

Mercury - Gemini in the house!!! Mercury is all about communication and processing. How an individual thinks and works through goals and relationships in all forms. The world wide web is a great example of Mercury, interconnectivity between the Mind, Body, Spirit; thus interconnecting with an infinite possible of information, ideas and new connections. When viewing this planet with a Water sign, energies of passion and comfort are to be expected; Air signs would be very sharp and to the point; Fire signs will implode or explode with curiosity and adventure; Earth signs will be firm in what they speak and feel. Reading this and the thoughts that come up are Mercury in action.

Jupiter - What is there to say about this big ass planet? Jupiter is all about expansion!! Whatever element this planet is in, guides you to focus and multiple. If you have another planet in the same element, it is important to take note. If the planet works well with Jupiter (like Venus), there is an great "advantage". On the other hand, planets such as Neptune and Pluto can....interfere with expansion; unless you know how to "work it". Jupiter has a great reputation but the other side of it can easily be ignored. Not all that glitters is gold.

Saturn - We spoke about Big Momma not too far back; well...here's Daddy Capricorn. Saturn, the planet of restriction, karma and hella lessons. This planet not only shows you how to navigate the world, it will quickly put anyone on their ass to sit down and have a think. One's placement in Saturn can speak volumes of where struggles will appear in life. No need to mention placements, Saturn needs to be analyzed and proofread to make sure all the "T's" are crossed and "I's" are dotted. If not, there will be no mercy here.

Uranus - The planet of Aquarius and quite peculiar. Uranus represents one's internal universe, not to be mistaken for where you are but what you are inside. Placements in Uranus can cause delusions, illusions and maybe some contusions. Aquarius is known as the "Water Bear" but yet it is and Air sign; that speaks volumes. Do not allow this planet to make you think one thing when it is so far from the point. That is the point.

Neptune - This is another one of those planets that play tricks. Neptunian energy is very dark and undetectable (not literally) but it is that, "What....what did you say?" It gives just a hint of it true power; if one is not bold enough to really embrace the energy, it will swallow you whole. The entire time you think you have this energy down, it jukes and leaves you guessing, "WTF just happened?!!" The connection between other planets and aspects help to "dissect" this energy for better understanding; check not once nor twice; check this thrice.

Pluto - This poor planet, humans cannot decide where to put this little guy; but yet through all the ignorance and rejection; Pluto is still there. Could it be that it is just too small and ram-bunkous to be labeled? Scorpio rules this planet and if you know a Scorpio; then you know! What happens to the child that is consistently bullied and never is served justice? It ends up being your boss. It calls the shots when there is no where else to turn. Now that you need help, Pluto is here to give it to you; with Justice. No one said Justice is fair for all, just for the ones who have been loyal. Do not pass on Pluto.
